Behavior Expectations

Arrival

• Walk to the cafeteria or playground.
• Do not arrive to school before 7:30.
• Wait patiently for the gate to be opened.

Cafeteria

• Speak quietly.
• Walk quietly out of the cafeteria.
• Observe the “Quiet Coyote” signal.
• PIck up your trash.
• Wait until you are dismissed.
• Keep food in the cafeteria.
• Use proper table manners.
• Help pick up any trash around you.

Playground/Recess

• Freeze and squat when the bell rings.
• Walk to your line
• Follow adult directions
• NO food allowed on the playground. 
• Stay within the designated areas. 
• Stay within the red lines.
• Do not put your backpacks on the ground. 
• Share play equipment.
• Put back play equipment.
• Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
• No play fighting.

Hallway

• Walk
• Do not play in hallways.
• Let others pass safely.

Line

• Wait quietly for your teacher.
• Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
• Walk quietly behind the person in front of you. 

Bathrooms

• Flush the toilet and wash hands after using the bathroom.
• Throw paper towels in the trash cans.
• Inform an adult if there is a problem.
• Keep the bathroom clean at all times. 

Dismissal

• Walk immediately to your afterschool class meeting area or to the exit gate.
• Do not play around the school campus
• Watch for your ride.
• Do not distract other classrooms.
• Be on time. 

Office

• Speak quietly.
• Get permission from staff members before entering.
• Wait patiently.
• Use please and thank you.
• Enter and exit quietly.

Technology

• Do not make changes to the laptops without teacher approval.
• Take care of computer equipment.
• Keep your work area neat and clean.
• Raise your hand if you have a question.
