Make sure your child has a safe route before allowing her or him to walk to school.
Consider whether your child has the skills necessary to walk safely to school. Can (s)he stay alert to the dangers of traffic? Can (s)he stay focused on getting to school without getting distracted and delayed?
Walk or scope out the route yourself before taking your child along.
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our second annual Family Literacy Night for students in grades K-6 4:00pm to 5pm on Tuesday, February 13. We will have a variety of activities to promote reading.
Please mark your calendar for this event. Questions? Contact our school office at 382-5970.
Exciting news for the 2017-2018 school year. To improve our service to families and students, we are giving teachers dedicated time every week to plan together. Research shows that educators who collaboratively discuss and plan their work are more effective in the classroom.
To accommodate this collaborative time, we will be adjusting bell schedules for the fall and releasing students early on Thursdays. All other days, students will stay in school a little longer than last year. Please see our new bell schedule for details.
