On May 13, 2022, Elder Creek held our 3rd annual jog-a-thon to
raise money for PE and for the school. The top primary class with
the most donations was in 1st grade, Ms. Vang’s class. The top
intermediate class with the most donations was in 4th grade, Mr.
Viducich’s class. As a school, we raised over $8000! All students
who raised at least $10 received popsicles. Everyone who raised
over $20 received a free meal from Panda Express. Everyone who
raised over $50 got to throw a “pie” at a staff member. Here are
some photos from the events.
This is Principal Brandon Frink with a short announcement. I hope
everyone has a restful and fun break. With that said, I do have
an important message to relay to you. As many of you have heard,
all students must complete the form reporting their vaccination
or exemption status by 11/30/21. Thanksgiving break is a great
time to schedule your student’s vaccination, meet with a
physician if filing an exemption and get your paperwork
completed. SCUSD is also posting school site and community
vaccination clinic opportunities on the website.
Good Evening parents and guardians, this is Principal Frink at
Elder Creek with a few important announcements. I know many of
you have questions about the start of school, safety measures,
and general procedures for the site. Unfortunately, due to
Covid-19 we are unable to hold any orientation events, except for
our kinder students. To help answer as many of your questions as
possible, we will be holding an informational Zoom meeting on
Monday, Aug. 30th at 6 p.m.
Elder Creek’s Chinese Immersion program has open spaces for its
2021-22 kindergarten class. The program helps students attain
language proficiency in both Chinese (Cantonese) and English,
through a dual immersion model. Interested kinder parents can
enroll by calling the school at 916-395-4555 or picking up a
packet in front of the school. We will be enrolling new students
on-site until Sept 10th.
In response to public health conditions and under guidance by
state and county local officials, Sac City Unified will begin the
2020-21 academic year with a full distance learning model.
Sac City Families: Please call the Attendance and
Engagement Office at (916) 643-2121 for
